I graduated from SouthWestern Michigan College with a degree in Graphic Design in May 2012 at the age of 42. I sell my photographs at art shows in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan in the summer months and from my website at www.JohnCrothers.com. Like a lot of other photographers I like taking shots of landscapes and nature but try to take shots that are different. In the heavily saturated photography market this is not always an easy thing to do.

Dad, "What happened?" What a shot! It speaks to the heart. Good work John.

Beautiful execution, (no pun intended), on this. How long did you have to wait? Brilliant ideal, brought beautifully to light.
Sydne Archambault
Wow how did you know a fawn would eventually come along for such an awesome capture John? That in itself amazes me! Truly it is how it is, the circle of life! Great capture in all ways!
Amy Porter
Your patience paid off, John! This is both aesthetically beautiful and thought provoking! F/L

This is the entry in the sweetest little fawn contest which stands out to me the most. There's a story here, a wonderment, and a sadness I can feel in the fawn as he/she looks at the skull. It's an excellent photo, with meaning and emotion wrapped inside. Great work!
